Creating Magical Pop-Up Books + Dances in Fantasy Land

Youth Kids | Available

Our kids camps are split up into two sessions, an art component and a movement component. Students are split into two groups by age and switch sessions halfway through the day.

Art: Creating Magical Pop-Up Books with Robin Bundi

Come learn how to create pages that will come to life! In this camp students will unlock the imagination and explore how to create pop-up illustrations out of paper. There will be an emphasis on how to construct pop-up artwork and at the same time students will learn how to add hand drawn illustrations to their pieces. Students will also develop their visual storytelling skills as they illustrate a short story with their own pop-up constructions.

Movement: Dances in Fantasy Land with Sophie Schatz

Students will learn all about the art of fantasy storytelling through dance. Students will watch fantasy themed dance works from all over the twentieth century and learn how to create their own fantasy inspired dances.
