During this mini-course you will dip into the vast pool of watercolor and demystify, palette set up, techniques, special effects, glazing, preserving, art supplies, color mixing, color theory, and more in this 3 week crash course. Whether you are new to watercolor or a seasoned professional, this workshop will build your knowledge of water-media and add to your artistic toolbox. You'll learn form live demonstrations and class discussions, while painting small studies in a relaxed art studio environment.

  • • 140lb 100% cotton watercolor paper. Recommended: 9x12 Blick Premier cotton.
    • Watercolor paints, professional quality pan set. Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Holbein etc.
    • Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-10. Recommended: Princeton Select series round or Princeton Velvetouch round.
    • 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch.
    • 1 pencil
    • 1 roll of 3M Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Washi Tape .7
    • Paper towels
    • Scissors
    • 1 Sakura Gelly Roll, White pen size 8 or 10
    • 1 Pebeo Brand drawing gum masking fluid pen o.7mm
    • 1 container for water
    • Saral Brand transfer paper or other erasable graphite transfer paper(not carbon paper).
