Computer Hardware: Demystifying the Computer

This course provides a theoretical and a hands-on, detailed, progressive examination of personal computer (PC) system hardware, both stand-alone PCs and distributed-data/networking hardware. The course concepts of hardware-related problems will be presented for discussion that are typical of personal and business-world computer hardware applications.  The course will provide an opportunity for students to demystify some computer terms, and give a hands on experience to the Life Long Learners.

Mike McKeown

Mike McKeown is a recently retired Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Supervisory Special Agent . He joined the FBI in 1997 and worked the majority of his career on cyber investigations for the FBI.  His cyber work for the FBI included working as a Cyber Assistant Legal Attache in Ukraine and at the European Union’s Europol Center in The Hague, Netherlands.  Following his retirement from the FBI, Mr. McKeown became an Assistant Professor at La Roche University.
