Fearsome Villainous character writing class - How to create a "VILLIAN" in story writing? It's frightfully exciting!

Lifelong Learning | Registration opens 1/8/2025 9:00 AM EST

Have you ever wondered what goes into creating a nasty villain character?

Or what makes a good (well developed) villain?

In this class, students will learn tips for creating spine-chilling, hair-raising villains, and well-rounded bad guys/gals. In addition, this course allows for both chilling independent story writing opportunities as well as working collaboratively to terrify their audiences. Students will delve, deep into unnerving realms of appalling characters that will give their readers nightmares.... AHHHHH scream!!

The course will focus on students thematically developing their villain, after understanding the story's theme.  Then, students will ask themselves, why is my villain like this?  This part of chilling is undoubtably for those with an insatiable appetite for building "emotional logic," and revealing their villain's visible and mental scars. Yikes, all while generating "superhuman" gifts and making them "unbeatable!"  Do you dare to construct a new version of Frankenstein's monster? Come to the dark side...it's horrifying good!
