Learn German

Lifelong Learning | Registration opens 5/1/2025 9:00 AM EDT

German is a fun and easy language to learn. It really is! You already know many common basic everyday English words from Germanic roots…about 26% - man, father, mother, son, daughter, house, sun, wind, table, stool, cat, garden just to name a few. Maybe you studied German in high school and we can build on that, or maybe your grandparents spoke some old words that their parents passed on. Or maybe you just want to try a new language.

This class will be a very small class and will run both sessions. It will not meet June 27 or July 4. It is suggested you secure a copy of “See It and Say It in German” if possible.
