We're From Pittsburgh

Lifelong Learning | FULL (Membership Required)

Pittsburghers. They’ve won Oscars (F. Murray Abraham), Super Bowls (Joe Montana), Pulitzer Prizes (George Kaufman), World Boxing Championships (Harry Greb). They’ve alerted us to the environmental dangers of pesticides (Rachel Carson), designed famous bridges (John Roebling), pioneered children’s TV programming (Fred Rogers), and transformed art (Andy Warhol). They’ve also invented the Mr. Yuk sticker, the Ferris Wheel…and the Big Mac!

Pittsburghers. They’ve done it all. We’ll explore stories of 200 of them. And you’ll also be introduced (in person) to a contemporary Pittsburgher who is changing lives.

Join us as we celebrate – Pittsburgh.
