Book Club: Sampling Genres

This semester, we will read selections from a variety of genres, from non-fiction, to sci-fi, satirical crime fiction and lighter mystery.
September 19 - Homing: Instincts of a Rust Belt Feminist by the Pittsburgh author Sherri Flick. This author will be featured as part of the LRUs Literary Society Presentation. We will communicate details once they are confirmed.
October 10 - Stormy Weather by Carl Hiaasen
November 7 - Dispossessed by Ursula Le Guinn
December 5 - Who is Maud Dixon by Alexandra Andrews

Natasha Garrett
Dr. Garrett holds a Ph.D. in international education from the University of Pittsburgh. She serves as the director of International Student Services and as an instructor in the International Studies and Communications Departments at La Roche. As a Macedonian in Pittsburgh, she is passionate about everything cross-cultural—education, literature, art, food/drinks and people.
