Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams.” Paul Gauguin

A continuation, but not replication of the class offered in the first session, we will create our own color wheel building with the secondary colors of orange, green and purple, the tertiary colors of red-orange, red violet, yellow orange, blue-green, blue-violet and everything in between. Participants will apply their color knowledge by creating a painting in any one of these color schemes including monochromatic, complementary, analogous or triadic. Paint, paint brushes and paper will be supplied. If you prefer to bring your own paint please bring gouache in the following colors: Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Red and Cadmium Yellow, as well as black, white and gray. An additional supply list, if needed, will be sent with confirmations.
