Art of Storytelling
Lifelong Learning | Available (Membership Required)
Storytelling is an indelible part of what it means to be human; it is through stories we build connection and meaning. This course will be an introduction to how to orally present an engaging story, whether you are offering a personal story, a folktale, historical story, or original fiction. The course will include discussions on what a story is (as opposed to an anecdote), the storytelling triangle, story selection, and activities to strengthen oral storytelling skills to help students reach their personal storytelling goals.
