Saturday, December 6, 1:30-9pm
Celebrate the warmth of the season with friends, good food, and warm, historic homes. After departing La Roche, we will enjoy a delicious meal provided by Walnut Grill in Wexford. Immediately following, we will step back in time 100 years and witness the Victorian houses of Olde Allegheny City in style. Homes are elaborately decorated and recall the late 19th century birth of the traditional American Christmas.
During the walking tour, there will be stairs, uneven surfaces, and possibly inclement weather. The tour goes rain or shine. It will be dark but we will be walking on streetlight lit streets in groups of 25, with a docent leading. There will be no access to restrooms during the tour. The tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
The fee includes round trip transportation, lunch at Walnut Grill, walking tour, and all tips for driver, docents, and meal.
