The development of dynamic, sensitive and believable landscape paintings is the focus of this workshop. Susan will share ideas on successful use of reference materials and developing sensitive and effective color relationships. Daily demos will include composition, editing and simplification for impact, and creating believable natural lighting effects. Students can expect to produce a new painting each day. Susan will conduct daily demonstration and plenty of individual instruction and critique will be provided. “You’ll be painting the soul of the subject, not the details!”
