Fans of science fiction and fantasy themes will enjoy creating original art infused with their own personality and style. Students will practice traditional studio techniques: proportion, color, scale, color theory. They will also explore taking their characters and landscapes to the next story telling level. Projects will include 3D art, designing cover and poster art, how to create camera-ready art, how to make prints, and how to price and prepare your art for sale.

Summer Fine Art Camps are held in professional art studios and taught by professional teaching artists. Each session incorporates 2D Art mediums such as drawing, painting, watercolor, mixed media, as well as 3D Art mediums such as relief, additive, found objects, and hand building with clay. Students will learn how to prepare their art for show and will share their creations in a Youth Art Show & Reception at the end of the session (3:00 Friday) All art supplies are included.
