Color is the most important element in any painting, regardless of the style or a medium. Artists are constantly in pursuit of beautiful color combinations; they are attracted and afraid of them at the same time. In this workshop, students have an opportunity to extend their artistic horizons with the help of a master. Larisa is a classically trained artist, an expert on color mixing, and a talented, experienced teacher. She is known for the generous sharing of her extensive knowledge and down-to-earth, informative teaching style. Larisa believes anyone can learn to see and paint with clean, bright and rich colors and she inspires the students to follow her steps. Through a series of exercises, slide show, group discussions and individual instruction, expect to dive deeper into the fascinating world of being a colorist.
