Students will learn the basics of portrait drawing alongside other beginners. This will be an informative and comfortable atmosphere to become familiar with portrait drawing terminology and techniques including: measuring, form, value, features and proportions. One of the hardest parts about drawing the portrait is knowing where to begin and how to break all of the visual information down into manageable pieces. Rachel will talk about what to look for when drawing a portrait and how to accurately capture what you see.
