In this one-day workshop, students will paint beautiful, colorful landscapes in watercolor on rice paper. The crinkles in the rice paper add lovely abstract shapes. These work very well depicting foliage and the paintings resemble batiks. The morning will consist of a color harmony and composition lesson and demonstration of this exciting technique. Students will receive individual instruction and will mount their rice paper onto watercolor paper and continue layering color for a stunning landscape.
