For the last thirty years Jason Scull has pursued fine art of the American West. This has included sculpting horses, cattle and characters of this vast region of our country. His early mentors included Jack Swanson, Mehl Lawson, Bill Moyers, and Cynthia Rigden. This workshop is an opportunity for students to work directly from live models with horses and cattle being the subject. Two days will be spent on the horse and two days on the cow. In this class, there will be demonstrations by Jason on both animals. This workshop is strictly limited to twelve participants. Students are encouraged to arrive as early as possible Sunday afternoon to get acquainted, to go over armature construction and to outline the week. This workshop promises to be a week of understanding cattle and horses in a rural setting and a workshop unlike any other previously attended. www.jasonscull.com

Portable equipment is required. Students will be working outdoors with a live horse and a live cow model, on the property of Saguaro Lake Ranch Resort. Lodging details provided upon registration.
