Plein air painters and students will welcome the opportunity to work with this internationally known artist and teacher. In two sessions daily, through demonstration and personal instruction, students will learn sound methods and procedures in rendering the equine subject in sunlight. The understandings gained through this intensive five-day workshop will be useful in future practice when working sur le motif from all animal subjects, as well as coping with problems inherent in painting ever illusive effects of light and atmosphere. Portable equipment is required. Students will be working outdoors with a live horse model, on the property of Saguaro Lake Ranch Resort. Monday-Thursday the workshop will be held at Saguaro Lake Ranch. The workshop will be held at SAS on Friday. Lodging details provided upon registration.
