Have you ever been inspired to work in the grand scale of paintings hanging in museums? Figure painter Timothy Rees will lead students through the mechanics of executing large figure paintings, from conception of idea to execution. Students will be provided a large stretched canvas (which can be rolled and shipped after the workshop), as well as extra-large brushes. After watching a demonstration each morning, students will work for five days to execute a painting that is five feet or larger. All styles are welcome, and the main focus will be in planning, setting up the model, positioning the model and canvas to view everything in the correct perspective, painting on a large scale, and more. Class size is limited to 10 students. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to paint the size of the Old Masters! www.reesfineart.com
