This class will be a fun one day exploration of faces-human or animal-and can be representational or “fantastic”. Using slab building techniques, students will create three dimensional faces that can be displayed on the wall when completed. Jane will discuss basic facial anatomy and proportion and will demonstrate how to establish structure and model features. She will also demonstrate the application of ceramic underglazes.
