In this class students will learn how to limit their values to get a convincing realistic image. Working with color, students will paint using three values in the light and two in the shadows, for a total of 5 values. By keeping those color mixtures, the same value for the light or shadow family will make our painting read wonderfully. Students are encouraged to bring all the tubes of colors they own we will mix many colors. No special talent required just an open and fun attitude. A 16x12 canvas with an image pre-drawn will be supplied. www.salinasart.com
