In this class, students will learn a variety of techniques to create a convincing head study. Jerry will provide a thorough investigation of the individual forms of the head and teach students how to make them come together as an integrated whole. Students will also learn to use an approach to help first identify the large shapes and then go into the details. The core of instruction will be focused on drawing, values, edges, planes of the head and composition. Before the class, a booklet of information will be emailed to all students to help prepare for the class. Students are recommended to bring their chosen medium. www.salinasart.com
