In this 2 day workshop, students will learn how to use a palette knife to create texture and dimension in their paintings. This dynamic effect can help take one’s personal painting voice to a whole new level. The use of different textures in a painting can create interesting effects, capturing the viewer’s attention. Students will work from reference photos or from a still life box. Reference photos can be of portraits, landscapes or still life and should have distinctive lights and shadows as they are more interesting. www.jenniferemilefreeman.com
