This workshop will cover the themes and processes of: understanding visual elements and their efficient usage in order to create a specific mood and message; how to build portrait painting structure with interesting brush strokes; case studies, color scheme, color pattern design and basic composition. Students will create a unique portrait painting from reference photos provided or from their own photographs. Working from this list of themes, students will address each one in accordance with their level of experience.
