The Portrait in Relief

Workshop | Available

For any artist wishing to know the full process of creating relief sculpture in a permanent medium this is an invaluable class. Eugene will demonstrate how to use every stage of the process to enhance the final portrait. Students will be making a plaster mold that will offer the opportunity to refine and enhance. From this negative mold a final positive cast will be made which can be as far as it’s taken, or this can be made into another material such as bronze. Daub will also demonstrate the process of adding names or wording to the relief. This is a rare opportunity to learn this amazing art form from one of the pioneers and leaders in the field. https://eugenedaub.com/
