Abstracting the Landscape
Workshop | Available
Take the plunge into abstraction by taking the fundamentals of landscape painting to new and exciting directions! This class will focus on the process of pulling imagery from nature to emphasize the formal aspects of painting–including shape, color, and edge–while elevating the intangible elements of the landscape. Open to all oil and acrylic painters who are willing to let go, experiment and take chances! Each session will start with a presentation/demonstration, followed by a series of painting exercises, leading up to larger works.
