In this class, students will learn how to compose a landscape painting in the studio. Ryan will discuss how to use studies made in plein air as well as imagination and/or photo reference to achieve a well-composed landscape with purpose. He will discuss invention, mood, light, paint application, unity, and composition to create a beautiful, finished landscape painting.
