In this three-day workshop, students will concentrate on using field studies and other reference materials to create finished studio landscape paintings. The class will start with an abbreviated lecture on the fundamentals of sound painting including drawing, value, design, and color. Students will also learn to think in terms of mass and form rather than detail and line. With these fundamentals in mind, students will proceed to work on their own studio landscape paintings.
