Setting Up the Still Life, Elements and Set Up

This class covers everything from managing effective drapery that works to selecting individual elements that work with both color balance and accepted composition factors. After a series of demonstrations students l will be able choose from a variety of props brought in for the class to create their own series of still life set ups. Drawings or quick paint studies can be made and of course photographs are welcome.
Michael Little
Mike studied at University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island School of Design and Cooper Union earning a BFA in drawing and printmaking and a MFA in painting. He has improved and changed with many workshops and classes at Scottsdale Artists’ School and fully expects to see even more diversity in his work.
Mike believes all things come from a strong understanding of drawing and that everyone has a style and voice that comes with practice and intuition.
