“Painting Textures in Still Life and Trompe L’Oeil” will develop skill building and problem solving in
capturing subjects such as metal, glass, wood, string, paper and fabric. Instructor Natalie Featherston will demo each step of her painting process from the initial drawing to achieving a brilliant finish with a practical indirect painting approach.
You’ll get a diagram of her palette and mixing strategy with specific paint colors, as well as a downloadable high resolution image of our photo reference material to work from. Also included is a list of special texture tools you can make at home and incorporate into your own work.
