Cindy DiBlasi is a representational oil painter, with a life-long passion for fine art.

Born and raised in Baltimore MD, Cindy studied at The Maryland Institute, College of Art. She majored in Graphic Design and Illustration, prompting a decade-long career in digital media, print and publishing. This has deeply influenced her artistic process and eye for design. During her career, she continued her fine art education while participating in exhibitions and selling work.

Her journey in oil painting began as a teen, studying from mentors trained in the Dutch Flemish methods. This has given her a deep understanding of the intricacies of all things related to the classical painting school of thought and techniques applied to her portrait, still life and landscape paintings. Today, Cindy resides in Arizona and enjoys painting alla prima from life, capturing the energy, movement, atmosphere, and light around her subjects with a hint of narrative mystery. Her journey continues at Scottsdale Artists’ School, learning from the many world-renowned instructors who have taught there, while passing on her knowledge and insight to younger generations through the Scottsdale Artists’ School Youth Academy.

Her love for teaching and sharing her artistic journey is profound. She believes in spreading beauty and inspiration through art, dedicated to nurturing the creative potential of others.
