Visualizing Your Painting – Design and Composition through Value Studies
Workshop | Available
In this workshop, we will focus on understanding form and how it interacts with value—essential elements for creating light-filled, compelling paintings. We will discuss multiple ways to visualize a painting beyond marker sketches using photographs and digital tools to study scenes through a value-based lens. Learn proven design formulas and strategies to strengthen your compositions. Gain tools and techniques to continue developing your design skills beyond the workshop. A Zoom orientation and discussion will be held prior to the in-person studio workshop (recording will be available if unable to attend). This session will prepare you with key concepts and allow for more focused painting time during the workshop. www.krollroberts.com
