Mosaics for Beginners

Learn to create your own treasured mosaic artwork in this hands-on studio class. Students will experiment with mosaic making from start to finish including prep, how to use tools & materials, designing, assemblage and grouting. Using tiles and small objects on a frame or other substrate, students will complete one mosaic.
- Supplies are provided, but students may bring their own frame or base if preferred. Students may also bring found objects, trinkets, or keepsakes if they would like to include them in their mosaic.
Jennifer White
Jennifer is a local artist who works in 2D and 3D art forms. She enjoys creating art in contemporary cultural themes with recycled materials, resin, wood, clay, murals, collaborative art. Jennifer teaches all ages at our summer youth program and other youth programs. She holds a BFA from Arizona State University.
