The Foreign Policy Association publishes Great Decisions, the largest grassroots world affairs program of its kind in the country. In partnership with the Savannah Council on World Affairs, The Learning Centerserves as a local chapter of this national program of DVD recordings and accompanying reading materials, each related to one of eight "Great Decisions" confronting the nation and world each year. Selected topics for 2018 include South Africa's fragile democracy and Russia's foreign policy, Chinese-American relations and Turkey as a partner in crisis, global health challenges, the potential waning of Pax Americana, and more.
