Divine Right of Kings | Daniel W. Ray
The idea that monarchs are God’s appointees on earth reaches to antiquity and barrels forcefully into modern European history. This episodic series examines the concept’s origins and explores various historic figures whose biographies exemplify the Divine Right, sometimes with disastrous consequences.
Daniel W. Ray earned his undergraduate degree in history from Portland State University, followed by a graduate certificate in Civil War history from American Public University.
