TREMORS: FEELING THE MOVEMENT

The San Francisco Examiner says that the 1990 horror/comedy film Tremors is “effectively terrifying when it needs to be, effectively exciting when it needs to be, and effectively hilarious when it needs to be.” Stuart Robertson (Academy Award winner for visual effects in 1998) is more succinct: “it’s pretty much the most perfectly crafted film ever made.” This seminar includes a screening of the film (96 minutes), as well as an intensive (and lively) examination of the movie’s genius by visual effects and film specialist Stuart Robertson.
