The New Yorker at 100

Charles Bethea

12:00 – 1:00 pm | Wednesday, February 19

The New Yorker turns 100 this year, and Charles Bethea has been regularly writing for the magazine for 10 of those years! He comments on the 1925 origins of the magazine—self-consciously created for the “sophisticated reader”—and chronicles milestones along a century of literary and journalistic evolution.

  • This program will be recorded and videos distributed to all attendees 3-5 days after the program date.
