The Local Vocals: The Learning Center’s Choir

Yesterday’s hits and timeless melodies: this is the fare at weekly gatherings of TLC’s choir, the Local Vocals. The benefits of choral music are numerous: connectedness to independence and engagement, expanded lung capacity, and alertness! All are welcome regardless of musical background.

Since age fifteen, Kay Deffley has served as a singer and instrumentalist in church choirs. Since moving to Savannah in 2011, she has served at Asbury Memorial. She is the founding director of the Local Vocals.
