FACT AND FICTION IN FILM

THE MANY ROAD MAPS TOWARD HEALING

Karen Bluestone and Bruce Cohen

11:00 am - 12:00 pm | Fridays, January 10
through March 7 (no class meeting on February 7)

Does art mirror life or does life mirror art? This
course focuses on the way relationships can help with healing. Units highlight healing through wisdom, forgiveness, connection, and acceptance. Each two-session unit begins with a feature film first, followed by a documentary the next week. These fictional films and documentary counterparts provoke thought and conversation, including the cinematic approaches to bringing these issues to life.
