Paul Fisher
This two-issue seminar explores the Fourteenth Amendment basis of United States citizenship as it applies to children born in the country to immigrant parents with either illegal or temporary legal status. The program further examines Constitutional issues arising from terrorist support by foreign students with a visa to study in the United States and the boundary between speech and terrorist support.
Paul Fisher has practiced law for more than a half-century. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, he has contributed amicus briefs to the Supreme Court and carefully follows the Court’s decisions.
