Linda McWhorter \

In 1868, Edouard Manet invited Berthe Morisot to sit for a painting that would be called The Balcony. He was married; she was not. So began a love story, set in Paris during the Franco-Prussian War, that would give birth to Impressionism! Linda McWhorter weaves the stories and shows the paintings.

  • Presented in person on indicated dates; subsequently released in virtual format.

Optional lunch available at 11:30 am; lunch registration deadline is the Friday prior to each lecture
