This program is open to members only and is limited to 30 participants.
Dating to Georgia’s very origins, Wormsloe State Historic Site lures visitors down its oak allée and into the eighteenth century. This curated visit, designed exclusively for members of The Learning Center, promises to reveal the life of Noble Jones and his new world.

  • Museum visit featuring artifacts excavated from archaeological digs
  • Guided tour of eighteenth-century tabby ruins of Noble Jones’s home along the marsh
  • Guided visit to UGA’s Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe
Mary Socci has directed the University of Georgia’s Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe since 2024. An archaeologist, she has worked in the coastal Southeast for over 20 years, most recently at the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
