ROGER SMITH
10:00-11:45 AM OR 1:00-2:45 PM | MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9

Savannah’s built environment has rich stories to tell about the city during the American Revolution. This walking tour features the sites, the relics, the monuments, and most importantly the stories of the oldest of the cities in the youngest of the colonies, and how times, places, and people converged to alter pivotal points in the history of Savannah and the U.S.

Roger Smith is the founding director of The Learning Center, leading it since its inception in 2006. Prior to his work at Senior Citizens, Inc., he served as a classroom teacher, a museum educator, and director of educational programs at the Georgia Historical Society.
