Designed for those who’ve never written a poem but would like to try, as well as for poets of varying degrees of experience, this course features writing in the poetic genre and workshopping poems in progress in a literary and collegial environment.

Anne Green discovered poetry writing at the Great Smokies Writing Program of UNC-Asheville. Her books of poetry include The Season Lengthens, Minute Men and Women, and The Watchful Eye.
