TLC hosts co-director David McMahon, who screens interview excerpts with experts such as GSU’s Dr. Bennet Parten and then discusses how these remarkable stories will end up on film.
David McMahon is a Peabody winner and an Emmy-nominated filmmaker who is co-directing Emancipation to Exodus, a PBS documentary scheduled for release in 2028.
These programs are presented in participation with the Hindsight Film Festival, featuring new historical documentary films that uncover untold stories and explore our shared past from fresh perspectives, March 5 - 8 at the Otis S.Johnson Ph.D. Cultural Arts Center.
