The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
3:30 – 5:00 pm | Fridays, April 3 through May 22
Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita stages a visit by Professor Woland (the Devil) to the atheist Soviet Union. Woland challenges Soviet citizens' beliefs toward religion and condemns their behavior. Considered the finest of Soviet satires, Bulgakov's novel combines supernatural elements with satirical dark comedy and Christian philosophy.
