The Beaufort, South Carolina, native entertains with stories of family and friends and how those stories influenced the food they cooked and served. In honor of Mother’s Day, Mary may include a few stories her mother wishes she wouldn’t tell! Her ultimate goal is to inspire others to capture stories and recipes for future generations. Mary Martha’s famous cheese biscuits and an array of sweets are served as part of the program!

Called “a seductive and skilled Southern storyteller,” Mary Martha Greene has authored two cookbooks: The Cheese Biscuit Queen Tells All and The Cheese Biscuit Queen: Kiss my Aspic, both loving food memoirs recalling stories and recipes of beloved family and friends. She is at work on her third book.
