JOHN ADAMS AND THOMAS JEFFERSON: A CORRESPONDENCE FOR THE AGES
Wednesday Courses | Available
Raleigh Marcell and Greg Vach
1:30 – 2:30 pm Wednesday, July 1 |
In a fourteen-year correspondence, the aging Adams and Jefferson sought to “explain ourselves to one another.” They were, of course, also “explaining themselves” to future generations. Costumed interpreters bring Adams and Jefferson to life, reading curated passages from their correspondence, culminating in their deaths on the same day: July 4, 1826.
