Liberty County, home to two of Georgia’s signers of the Declaration of Independence, continued its freedom-seeking trajectory through Dorchester Academy, an epicenter of civil rights in the twentieth century. Kay Flowers screens her 40-minute documentary Dorchester Academy: A Legacy of Liberty. She is joined by Brynn Grant to discuss the mostly untold story of how their county and its people set the stage to change the nation.
