From 1942 to 1945, some 20,000 soldiers trained at the secret Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie, Maryland. Among them: 2,800 Jewish refugees from Nazi-controlled Europe who returned as American soldiers—interrogators, psychological warfare specialists, and intelligence analysts. Their long-classified story raises enduring questions about immigration, loyalty, identity, and wartime intelligence.
David Jones holds a PhD in leadership from Indiana University. In a distinguished career, he worked for Fortune 100 companies and served on the faculties of eight universities. He teaches on a wide array of topics at The Learning Center.
