Anita Smith started painting seventeen years ago and is now a professional artist. She always loved the arts but was too busy to devote the time to make it a big part of her life. Now that she is a retired nurse, wife, mother of two and grandmother of five, art has filled Anita’s life in ways she never anticipated.

In 2010, Anita wrote a book and had to pay someone to illustrate it. She decided to learn illustration for her future books and fell in love with art. She hasn’t stopped painting, and she hasn’t written another book!
